Movement Preparation 2 sets of:
- 8 wall squats
- 8 band squats
*Movements are meant to be slow and controlled. Focus on driving knees out through entire movement, strong back and upright torso, squeeeeeeeze glutes on way up. Activation is where it’s at!
Strength NEW Q’s: Back Squat
- A1. 3 x 5 reps across @ same weight - rest 45 sec
- A2. Dead Hang Pull-ups, 5 x 4-6 – rest 2.5 mins
VETERAN Q’s: Front Squat
- A1. 3 x 5 (work up to 5RM) - rest 45 sec
- A2. Dead Hang Pull-ups 5 x 2-4 (weighted or assisted) – rest 2.5 mins
2 Rounds of 4 min AMRAP:
- 9 Box Jumps
- 6 Burpees
- 3 Deadlift @ 50-55% 1RM
*Rest 1 min between rounds
